Quarry Thunder U12 beat strong opposition to win Marston Tournament

Fresh from winning the B League without losing a game, Quarry Thunder won their first tournament of the Summer, at Marston, beating both a JPL team and the A league Runners up in the process. Thunder entered two teams, so closely matched that when they met each other in the Quarter Final it went down to sudden death penalties to separate them. Well done boys, keep it up!

Players needed to play U12 football for 2018/19 season

There is an opportunity for 2 or 3 players to join the Quarry Rovers Trinity squad for the upcoming season. Your son will have been born between 1/9/2006 and 31/8/2007. Trinity have recently secured the Oxford Mail U11 B League title, so will be playing either A or B league football in 18/19. Consequently new players will need to demonstrate the ability, enthusiasm and commitment needed to compete at this level. Suitable boys are likely to be in an A or B league team at present, or be the stand out player in a lower league team. Trinity has a strong team ethic and new players should also understand they are part of something bigger than the players. Our aim is to develop an 11-a-side team
