Nigel honoured in county awards

Club secretary Nigel Boulter has been recognised for more than four decades of commitment to grassroots football at this year’s Oxfordshire Sports Awards. Nigel was runner-up in the "Unsung Hero” category of the 2015 awards held at the Kassam Stadium on 27 November.

Quarry Rovers chairman, Neil McCrae said: “Nigel's unbroken commitment to Quarry Rovers is quiet and unassuming. But the contribution is huge. His tireless efforts in the background mean that team managers and their supporting volunteers can focus their attention on providing a supportive and enjoyable sporting environment. This recognition is richly deserved."
