Aown Dogar Memorial Tournament

On 4th September, Quarry Rovers and Hinksey Park competed in the inaugural Aown Dogar Memorial tournament. The overall winner of three matches would take the trophy. Quarry U12 girls won the first match 5-1. Hinksey Park U13s took the next 3-2. The decider was between the two U16 teams. With the scores level at 1-1 at full time, the match went to penalties which Hinksey Park won 4-3. So the trophy was won by Hinksey Park.

Many thanks to Hinksey Park for hosting the event. Quarry will host next year’s event. It was a great afternoon and well supported by both clubs. Aown’s family were very supportive and appreciated the day.
